Description Whales Over Samana: Las Terrenas

A private gate and a one-minute walk separate this villa from the Caribbean sand, which sets the tone for a stay where the beach feels like an extension of the home. The lap pool – with its striking glass wall – sits amid tropical greenery for those who'd rather not venture further, while the roof terrace offers an alfresco kitchen and sweeping views over the palms and green hills. Kayaks are on hand, whale watching in Samaná Bay is within reach, and a private chef can be arranged when cooking feels like too much effort.
