Description
Fountain & Sierra: La Zagaleta
addremove
Set in an exclusive gated estate, this Andalusian hacienda arrives with a cobbled driveway, a central fountain, and mountain peaks filling the horizon in every direction. The double-height entrance hall opens onto pool and summit views, while the covered terrace is made for long alfresco meals as the light shifts across the ranges. Five en-suite bedrooms are spread across three floors – the main suite has its own sundeck and marble bathroom – and the basement holds a spa, cinema room, and gym. When you're ready to venture out, Moorish castle ruins and an Andalusian pueblo blanco are both within easy reach.
Home truths:
* The villa spans three floors, with bedrooms across the ground floor, upper floor, and basement – so you'll need to be able to climb stairs here.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair. You'll need to request them in advance.
* This home is situated in a secluded mountain estate – the nearest beaches are around 12 km away and Marbella is roughly 25 km. You'll need a car to reach shops, restaurants, and the coast.
