Some things are better set in stone, and this villa is exactly that. Tucked away in Agios Georgios, it’s just asking for evenings of soft light, Cretan wine, and time with loved ones. And while the interior may be just a touch old-fashioned, everything else makes up for it, from the hydromassage Jacuzzi to the Cretan delights upon arrival, and stripped-back views of the northwest Cretan countryside and sea ahead. That said, one of the bedrooms is set up as a sofa bed, so it may not suit everyone. Away from home, the turquoise waters of Gramvousa Beach are nearby.

*One bedroom connects straight into the bathroom, with the shower opening onto the room, so privacy is limited.
*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in one of the downstairs bedrooms.
*You’ll be greeted with a welcome basket on arrival, filled with local Cretan produce, including fruit, olive oil, wine, raki, and fresh eggs.
