Description Pines & Kings Beach: Kings Beach

A trailhead less than 50 yards from the front door sets the tone for what this North Shore house is all about – effortless access to the outdoors in every season. Hike or mountain bike straight from the doorstep, or follow the scenic trail directly to Kings Beach on Lake Tahoe. Back inside, soaring ceilings, exposed wood beams, and a fireplace make the great room a natural place to decompress. Come evening, the forest-wrapped deck – with a barbecue and fire pit – is where the day properly ends, with pine trees standing close on all sides.

Home truths:
* The king bed in the main bedroom can be split into two twins if that works better for your group – just let your host know in advance.
* One of the bedrooms has a single-over-double bunk bed that can sleep up to three people – we think it might be best suited to children.
* You'll have garage parking for two vehicles here – useful to know if you're travelling in a convoy of cars, as any additional vehicles will need to park elsewhere.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
