Within 300 metres, The Brewery Arts Centre, with a cinema, theatre, cafe, and bar, offers everything from comedy shows to great live music. Kendal town centre has plenty to see and do, with independent local shops and cafes as well as local river walks and the atmospheric ruins of Kendal Castle. Also known as The Gateway to the Lake District, this market town has easy access to the main lakes, with bus and train routes right through the heart of the national park. A day trip to the likes of Windermere (8.5 miles), Ambleside (13 miles) and Grasmere (16.5 miles) offers even more adventure, from boat rides on the lake to some of the most stunning scenery in the country. Step up into the property from the quiet side street and enter into the main kitchen/dining area. It is well equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm and features a cosy dining space. Walking through into the homely lounge, you are greeted with plush sofas and a wood burner effect gas fire, as well as games and plenty of books. Enjoy your evenings with a glass of wine and your favourite film whilst looking out over the sunny patio. Heading upstairs to the first floor, you will find the single bedroom, an immaculate space with views over the rooftops. Next door, the cosy double bedroom has everything you need for a good night's sleep after a busy day on the fells. On the same floor is the family bathroom giving practicality as well as comfort. Head up to the second floor, where you ll find the attic room a bright space with a king size bed as well as a TV for those lazy mornings. Please note there is reduced head height due to low, sloping ceilings.
