Wake up to the breathtaking scenery of ricefields and palm trees in this rural Balinese villa. Its setting in the countryside means you’ll be a bit off the beaten track, but it’s a quick drive away from Ubud, where you can wander the incense-filled streets and visit spectacular local temples. Back home, the infinity pool is the highlight, framing the view of the surrounding scenery gorgeously. The living area is open to the elements so you can keep cool – but this means it can also get a bit wet inside if it rains. The bedrooms are all enclosed though – and with air conditioning in each, you’re set for a comfortable stay.
