Perched above a hidden cove in Kalami, this villa earns its place on the northeast Corfu coast with a pool that looks directly out over the Ionian – bougainvillea overhead, yachts drifting across the bay below. A private gate leads across the road to the cove itself, while the herb-scented terrace garden offers shaded spots for alfresco dining and quieter corners for doing very little. Kalami's tavernas and beach are about three minutes on foot.

* We recommend hiring a car if you wish to explore the wider area. Parking is available on the premises.
* The villa is spread across several levels connected by steps, both inside and in the garden – worth bearing in mind if anyone in your group has mobility considerations.
* Guests have access to all areas of the home, apart from the linen cupboard, a gated storage area at the basement and the electrics and plumbing section of the utility room.
* Two of the beds can be arranged as king size doubles or singles upon request.
