Downstairs you’ll find a large sitting room with comfy sofas and a warming wood burner for added cosiness should a chillier evening catch you by surprise. Settle in for movie nights or evenings of wine and conversation.

Outside the lush garden awaits you – you’ll have full privacy here, and with the added benefit of comfy garden furniture and a barbecue, you’ll no doubt enjoy outdoor feasts and drinks under the stars on those balmy summer nights.

At the end of the day retreat to the plush bedrooms for a night of restful sleep – you’ll have a choice of three comfy rooms, including one featuring a bunk bed, which will no doubt be a hit with the kids.

The surrounding area offers plenty of exciting activities for the whole family to enjoy. Callantsoog is one of the oldest and most beautiful seaside resorts in the country, and you'll find plenty of picturesque hiking and cycling trails around. Why not hire a bike and go exploring or take a drive to the historical towns of Schagen, Alkmaar and Hoorn, all located just a stone's throw away.
