You’ll find this abode on the Isle of Palms, within strolling distance of the beach, a handful of restaurants and a recreation centre with tennis and pickleball courts. If you don’t fancy walking, your host can arrange street-legal golf cart hire for getting about. This place is all about spending quality time together, whether as a family or a group of friends. The garden features a private pool for games of Marco Polo, while the multiple porches are ideal for unwinding well into the evening. Inside, expect all the comforts of home – the kitchen is well-appointed and the beds ensure a good night’s sleep.

Home truths:
*Since the photoshoot, some of the decor in the bedrooms has changed. The fifth bedroom now has a queen bed and a single, and the sixth bedroom (not photographed) has two single over double bunk beds.
*We recommend hiring a car if you wish to explore the island. Parking for six cars is available on the premises.
*Please note, the fireplace is unavailable for guest use.
*Beach or pool towels aren’t provided here, so you’ll need to bring your own.
*There is no dedicated shower for the fifth and sixth bedrooms, so guests will need to share with one of the en-suite bedrooms.
*There are around seventeen steps to climb to reach the entrance of this home.
*Your host provides a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels and coffee. For top-ups, the nearest supermarket is a three-minute drive away.
