The town centre's compact charm and the elegant River Bridge are practically on your doorstep, making this an easy base for exploring one of England's most picturesque riverside towns.

Home truths:
* You'll have one allocated parking space, a one-minute walk from the cottage – but you'll need to send your registration plate at least 48 hours before arrival so your host can register it with parking control. If you're arriving in a larger vehicle, note that the space is on the tighter side. The parking space isn't available for last-minute bookings, as you'll need at least two days' notice.
* This is a town-centre cottage, so you can expect some ambient noise from the surrounding streets – especially at weekends.
* If you're planning to use the barbecue, you'll need to bring your own wood, charcoal, firelighters, and matches – these aren't provided.
* Please note that the coffee machine is a Nespresso Vertuo. If you'd like to use it during your stay, we recommend ordering Vertuo-compatible pods online, as they are not always available in local shops.
