Modern design meets countryside comfort at this charming home on the fringe of North Yorkshire. Dressed in floral decor and stylish details, the living space is a lovely place to relax after a busy day of hiking the Dales nearby. With a huge skylight overhead and a sliding patio door out to the garden, there's heaps of natural sunlight throughout the communal area. We particularly liked the contemporary fireplace and the elegant dining area here. There's also a dedicated home office space, a treadmill and a second sitting room for flexible living. But the real standout here is the private outdoor area, complete with thoughtfully curated flower beds and a barbecue – it's perfect for balmy summer evenings spent together.

*A well-behaved dog is welcome to join you, but your host kindly asks that they are kept off the furniture and not left in the house alone for long periods of time.
