When the urge to explore takes hold, Orvieto is a twenty-minute drive away, and a train station ten minutes from the door connects directly to Rome and Florence.
Home truths:
* This home is set over two floors, so you'll need to be able to climb stairs here. It might not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair at no additional cost. You'll need to request them in advance.
* You'll need a car to get the most out of your stay. The nearest shops in Guardea are a five-minute drive away, and the surrounding towns – Orvieto, Todi, and Amelia – are all around twenty minutes by car. Free parking is available on the grounds.
