Waking up to a direct view of the Alhambra from your bedroom window is a fairly hard thing to beat. This apartment on a quiet pedestrian street in Granada's historic centre pairs that view with high ceilings, ornate mouldings, and 1890s flooring that hint at the building's age without feeling fussy. Step through the living room onto the private terrace – sun loungers, artificial grass underfoot, and rooftop panoramas to spare. Granada Cathedral is a five-minute walk away, and the surrounding streets are lined with bars and restaurants worth lingering in.
