Imagine being a short stroll from the most special spots in Florence. That’s where you’ll be when you stay at this cosy apartment. Our favourite feature is the balcony, which offers a glimpse of the Palazzo Vecchio – it’s the perfect perch for planning your day. There’s a basic kitchen too (best for simple meals), but with so many restaurants nearby, we heartily recommend sampling the local cuisine. The downside? It’s a fourth-floor apartment without a lift, so you’ll have to climb quite a few stairs when you come and go. But name a landmark in Florence and you can probably walk to it from here – and that’s the thing we love most.

*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home, which is on the fourth floor.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob and a microwave. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*One of the bedrooms has access to the balcony.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
*This home isn't suitable for infants under the age of 2 years old.
