There aren’t many apartments in Florence that can boast a two-minute walk to the Duomo – and this home is one of the lucky few. Its tall windows look out to the bustling street below, and the high ceilings with their intricate mouldings serve as another reminder that you’re in the cradle of the Renaissance. It is indeed an historic building, so although it does have a lift, you’ll need to climb a few steps to reach it. It’s a small price to pay, though – walk outside you’ll be right in the heart of Florence, immersed immediately in the very best the city has to offer.

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. The upstairs bedroom is on an open mezzanine floor, so there won't be much privacy.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
*The building has a lift, however there are five steps leading up to it.
*Well-behaved pets up to 11lbs are welcome to join you upon request.
