Eye on the Duomo

Looking for a central Florence bolthole with a view and easy access to the city’s sights? This two-storey apartment, with a private rooftop balcony and a direct eyeline to the Duomo, should do the trick. Inside, the modern, pared-back interiors feel like a breath of fresh air to the grandeur of Florence’s historic streets below. Something to note for longer stays – the main en-suite bedroom is on the upper floor, while the final two guests will be on a sofa bed in the living room. Although with a partition curtain to section off the space and a downstairs shower room to call your own, we don't think it's too much of a compromise.

*The apartment is located on the fourth floor and has shared lift access.
*The apartment is set over two levels with internal stairs which may not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise from time to time.
*If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.
