Aegean Dreaming

If you’re dreaming of a laid-back Greek island escape, this traditional villa on Koufonissi could be the one. With views of the Aegean Sea and Keros Island, you're just a ten-minute walk from Pori Beach. Inside, it’s fairly compact and minimalist but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Outside, you can enjoy meals on the balcony overlooking the sea, sunbathe on the sofa, or stargaze from the terrace. At full capacity, four guests will sleep on sofa beds in the living area and wine cellar, so it may feel a bit snug. It's worth it, though, for the setting – plus the host provides transport from the port to anywhere you want to go on the island.

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on two single sofa beds in the living area, and two will sleep on a double sofa bed in the wine cellar. We think it might feel a little cramped, so we'd recommend a maximum guest count of six for a comfortable stay.
*There's free parking on the premises, but you won't need a car here – you can walk the whole island in forty minutes.
*Your host provides transport from Koufonissi port to anywhere you'd like to go on the island.
*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the upper level of the home.
*Daily housekeeping and a twice-weekly linen change are included.
*While the living room and second bathroom aren't photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
