Perhaps you’ll go for an early-morning swim in the heated salt-water pool, or maybe your mind will already be in the kitchen. With a breakfast bar and a lovely dining table, there’s enough room for everyone to dine together – and there’s a splendid outdoor kitchen with a grill too.

Then you just have to decide how to spend the rest of your day. Will you drive eight minutes to paddle at Amagansett Beach, or play a round of golf at the East Hampton Golf Club, which is just three minutes away? However you spend your day, make sure you’re back in time to enjoy the sunset from the garden. Sip cocktails on the porch as the sun shifts into pastel shades, then stay out late to spot the stars.
