Emerald on Crystal Beach

Waking up to the emerald Gulf stretching out from your balcony is hard to beat, and this Crystal Beach apartment makes it an everyday reality. The living room looks straight out over the water, the balcony is set up for sunset dinners, and the Gulf-front infinity-edge pool sits just steps from the sand. A complimentary beach setup – two chairs and an umbrella – awaits each morning from 1st March to 31st October, and unlimited bike rentals mean Destin's restaurants and shops are easy to reach whenever you're ready to venture out.

Home truths:
* The infinity-edge pool is heated from 1st October through 1st April – if you're visiting in the warmer months, the pool will be unheated.
* Bath towels and bed linens can't leave the home, so you'll want to pack your own beach and pool towels for days on the sand.
* During sea turtle nesting season – 1st May to 31st October – you'll need to close your balcony blinds and turn off any outdoor lights at night to avoid disorienting hatchlings making their way to the water.
* Beach items – chairs, tents, umbrellas – must be cleared each night, as anything left unattended from one hour after dusk will be discarded under local municipal code.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
