Timon's Hideaway

This Orlando home has family retreats written all over it. Decked out in decor inspired by nearby Walt Disney World, there's something special around every corner. A private pool is perfect for quick dips, though the resort also offers plenty of shared spaces to soak up the sun – we're talking a waterslide, a lazy river, and a splash zone for the kids. Two lounges will come in handy for families, as will the games room for friendly competitions. Factor in the location, just twenty minutes from Disney and forty from Universal, and it's full marks from us.


Home truths:
*Although this home sleeps up to fourteen people, we think it may be a squeeze, especially as there are only eight seats at the dining table and four at the kitchen island. We'd suggest a reduced guest count if you'd like ample space.
*Bedrooms two and four both have bunk beds with doubles on the bottom and singles on top.
*You'll have access to the on-site amenities here, including a resort pool, splash zone, fitness centre, lazy river, waterslide, movie theatre, volleyball courts, and more. They're shared with the building's other residents.
