Days drift between the walled sand courtyard – where canvas loungers sit beneath a dappled reed canopy – and the sun-lit pool terrace framed by pine trees. An alfresco loggia handles long lunches and evening drinks, while the main house draws everyone together for meals. The Troia Peninsula's Atlantic beaches and Roman ruins are about thirty-three minutes by car, and the limestone cliffs of Arrábida Natural Park are well worth the drive too.
