Pine & Stillness

Tucked within Comporta's protected pine landscape, this villa is built around a private dune garden – timber boardwalks linking the pavilions, an infinity-edge heated pool at the centre, and pine trees framing the horizon on every side. Days here settle into their own rhythm: alfresco dining for ten beside the pool, a library lounge for quieter hours, and a wellness wing with a sauna, steam room, and cinema room for when you want to stay in entirely. The Alentejo's wild Atlantic coastline is close, and the Roman ruins and dolphin-rich estuary of the Tróia Peninsula are roughly thirty-two minutes by car.

* While not all bedrooms and bathrooms are photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
* The villa is spread across several separate pavilions connected by outdoor boardwalks, so you'll be stepping outside each time you move between sleeping, living and wellness areas – factor that in on cooler evenings.
* The town centre, restaurants, cafes and shops are around a fifteen-minute walk away, and a car will make things easier – there are ten open-air parking spaces on site.
* The sixth bedroom has two bunk beds and two single beds that can sleep up to six people – we think it might be best suited to children.
* The swimming pool isn't fenced.
* Well-behaved pets are welcome to join you, though dangerous breed dogs are not permitted.
* Housekeeping is included every day for four hours.
