Description Pearl & Azure: Como

The rooftop terrace at this Como apartment offers views that are hard to resist – Lake Como and the mountain panorama stretching out before you, ideal for a long alfresco dinner as the light fades over the water. Inside, the living room carries that same view, and one bedroom opens onto its own private terrace for quieter mornings. A private sauna adds a welcome touch of indulgence. Down at street level, Como's lakeside promenade, Piazza Cavour, and the Gothic-Renaissance cathedral are all a short drive away.

Home truths:
* There's free on-site parking for one car here, a rarity in this part of Como – one less thing to plan if you're arriving by car. We suggest having one for ease, as the city centre is about a thirty-minute walk away.
* Before arrival, you'll need to complete an online check-in form, share passport photos for all guests, sign the tourist-use lease, and join a quick video call with the host to verify your documents.
