Como Glow

Famous for the namesake lake and funicular railway up to the mountains, there's no shortage of adventures to be had in Como, that's for sure. During the day, hop on the ferry and visit the enchanting villages on the water, or stroll along the lakefront promenade, admiring the views. Come evening, sample delicious Italian cuisine at the countless restaurants, sidewalk cafes and wine bars in town before grabbing a gelato for dessert. It's an exciting spot to base yourself on a visit to the region – and this apartment is in the heart of it all, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Como, the train station and all the must-see sights.

When you're not out and about, this pocket-sized apartment is the ideal place to rest your head. Sleek and modern, the rooms are bright and the finish is glossy. We love the rainfall shower in the bathroom as well as the comfortable bed, which is just the ticket after a long day on your feet. We're not going to lie: it is compact – especially the kitchenette – but the private balcony more than makes up for the lack of space. Morning, noon or night, it's the perfect place to savour an espresso or unwind with a glass of wine in the fresh air.
