Castello da Sacco Stone

Tucked within a 19th-century castle complex on the edge of Lake Garda, this apartment carries real history – exposed stone walls, a park of century-old trees, and a communal pool with the Alps visible on the horizon. Dine alfresco in the castle grounds, then cool off in the water as the mountains settle behind you. The Terme di Colà thermal spa is just a short walk away, Lazise's medieval harbour is a ten-minute drive, and Verona is within a twenty-five-minute drive when the mood calls for an arena and ancient streets.

Home truths:
* We recommend hiring a car to make the most of your stay. You can park one car in the residence's open-air car park at no extra cost.
* There is no air conditioning in this apartment. Ceiling fans and the thick ancient stone walls help keep things cool.
* The shared pool is open from 1st June to 28th September, so if you're visiting outside those months you won't be able to use it. Note also that pets are not permitted in the pool area.
* Pets are welcome here, though dangerous breed dogs are not permitted. If you're bringing a dog, it's worth checking with your host in advance to confirm your breed is fine.
* While the bathroom isn’t photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
