Avenida Presidente Masaryk, the neighbourhood's premier boulevard of boutiques and restaurants, is just steps away, making it an effortless base for exploring one of the city's most coveted districts. Back home, a shared rooftop terrace offers another vantage point over the neighbourhood, and the round-the-clock doorman means you can come and go with total ease.

* This home has a studio-style layout, where the sleeping space and living area share one room. It's great for a solo traveller or couple, but it might not be for you if you'd prefer a separate bedroom.
* If you're travelling with a little one, your host can provide a cot and high chair – just request them in advance so they're ready for you.
* You're in one of the world's largest cities, so some street noise filtering in from outside is likely, particularly at night. It's worth packing earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
* You'll have access to the communal rooftop terrace here. It's shared with the building's other residents.
* Parking here can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.
