Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the Chicago skyline from this high-rise apartment, where the city's lights spread out below you whether you're cooking, lounging, or stepping onto the balcony for an evening drink. The four bedrooms give groups real breathing room, and the indoor pool and hot tub mean there's always somewhere to decompress after a day out. Cloud Gate and Millennium Park are a six-minute walk away, making this a strong base for the city – and with free parking on-site, arriving by car is far less of a headache than it might otherwise be.

* This is a high-rise building, so you'll be using the lifts to reach the twenty-first floor every time you come and go. The concierge will issue you a key fob on arrival to access the main entrance, lifts, and your apartment door.
* While the WC isn't photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
* At full occupancy, you'll need to make use of one rollaway bed here. We think they're best suited to children.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a Pack-n-Play travel cot. You'll need to request it in advance.
