If your idea of a good weekend involves country walks followed by pub lunches and evenings by the fire, this Cotswolds cottage is a very good shout. Dating back to the 17th century, the house is full of original character – exposed beams, stone walls, crackling log burners. The Aga kitchen and sunny walled garden are nice touches too. The location’s hard to fault. You’re right in the middle of Bledington, one of the Cotswolds’ prettier villages, with walking routes leading straight to neighbouring pubs, villages, and Daylesford Organic Farm. There’s even a village shop a short stroll away for pastries, wine, and barbecue essentials.
