And the private balcony is perfectly positioned to make the most of the vistas, whether you’re dining alfresco, or sipping a sundowner. While the traditional decor here may not be to everyone’s tastes, we love the history of this home – dating back to 1608, it was originally a convent. When you’re ready to explore, a four-minute drive will take you to the picturesque lakeside town of Cernobbio – known for its historic villas – where you can enjoy a gelato or eat out at one of the many restaurants.
