Meanwhile, the outdoor space more than makes up for the cosy proportions of this home – you've got a private patio where you can sip a drink in the sun, and a short walk through the gardens brings you to a shared swimming pool. This is an ideal base for immersing yourself in Chianti's wine heritage, yet it's also just a thirty-minute drive from Siena.

*Well-behaved pets are welcome to accompany you during your stay.
*While this home can accommodate two additional guests on the sofa bed, the maximum occupancy is two guests.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and a high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*The swimming pool is only available for use between May and October, from 9am to 9pm. It's unfenced, so please supervise children at all times.
