The three floors of living space feel calm and quiet, making the central location easy to enjoy without sacrificing a good night's sleep. Air conditioning in every bedroom helps on warmer nights, too. A ten-minute walk brings you to the train station, with direct services to Lisbon in around twenty-five minutes. It's a great option for groups of families keen to be by the sea yet within easy reach of the capital.

* You'll be using the stairs a lot here – the villa spans three floors, with bedrooms on the first and second floors and the living room, kitchen, and guest toilet on the ground floor. The staircase is steep and narrow, so bear that in mind when lugging suitcases up on arrival. This home is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
* Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
* Parking isn't provided, but you won't need a car here. You can walk to the seafront and marina, as well as the train station – it's about twenty-five-minutes to Lisbon.
