Location wise, it's half a mile from the trails for hiking and cross-country skiing, while Tahoe City's shops, restaurants, and grocery stores less than ten minutes away.

* You'll need a car to get around – though there is a public bus stop about a twelve-minute walk away. Winter driving may require four-wheel drive or snow chains, so plan accordingly if you're visiting in the ski season.
* There are five parking spaces across the driveway and the two-car garage.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot on request. Children's dinnerware and stair gates are already in the home.
* The bunk bed in the third bedroom is formed of a single bed over a double bed.
