Just outside the medieval city of Carcassonne, this home puts the castle ramparts, surrounding vineyards, and the Pyrenees front and centre. It's the only villa in the area with these sweeping views, and the town centre is just a ten-minute drive away. The garden has everything you need to unwind in the sunshine, including a heated pool, private Jacuzzi, pétanque court, and a playground for little ones. Inside, the interiors are bright, roomy, and contemporary. All the beds can be converted into twins if needed, making this an ideal option for families. Factor in the opportunity to arrange guided tours, wine tastings, private chefs, and a host of other experiences, and it's no surprise this home captured our hearts.
Home truths:
*This home sleeps twelve people, plus two babies. Two bedrooms each sleep three people, as they have a king-sized bed and a single. All the king-sized beds can be converted into two singles upon request.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide two cots upon request. They can also provide baby equipment such as bathtubs, changing mats, high chairs, safety gates, and more.
*The heated swimming pool is available from 15th April to 15th October. The Jacuzzi is available all year round.
*Private parking is available here. We suggest hiring a car for ease. There's also an EV charging station.
