Perched above the shores of Lake Como, this impressive villa in Brunate has wow-factor in spades. Designed over a century ago by local architect Federico Frigerio, its elevated position puts sweeping views at your fingertips. Outside, an array of lake-facing terraces set the scene for alfresco wining and dining. There are also 2.5 acres of private parkland to explore, where winding paths lead to a seasonal swimming pool, greenhouse, and a scattering of tucked-away seating areas perfect for quiet moments. Indoors, Art Nouveau elegance meets contemporary comforts – think vaulted ceilings, hand-painted frescoes, and marble fireplaces. Add in a private concierge and in-house maid, and every detail is taken care of – if that's not pure relaxation, we don't know what is.

*While the kitchen isn't photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home. We think it's best suited for lighter fare – for larger meals, speak to your host about arranging a chef for a fee.
*Daily cleaning by an in-house maid is included with your stay. Also included are a private concierge, personal ironing and laundry services, luggage assistance upon arrival, and a welcome drink.
*The private pool is available to use between June and October.
*You'll have access to the whole home and garden, apart from a few staff-only areas.
*This home is spread across three floors, with many stairs in between each level. It won't suit those who struggle with limited mobility.
*Yoga mats are available upon request. A yoga instructor is also available upon request with advance notice.
*You're perched high in the hills here, so you'll need a car to reach Lake Como's lakeside towns and restaurants. The approach road is narrow and winding.
