Behind the front door, guests will stumble upon a well-preserved period interior complete with handsome wood panelling, ornate fireplaces and the odd curio or two — how about a gong in the corridor? The master bedroom is interesting too with its Chinese-inspired furnishings and hand-painted murals. Out in the two acres of grounds, there are lovingly arranged landscaped gardens, a children's play area and a heated swimming pool. For the full rural fantasy, visitors are also welcome to pick vegetables from the plot or apples from the orchard. The quaint town of Broadway is only eight minutes' walk away and has art galleries, restaurants and a deli. You're also in horse racing country and Cheltenham racecourse is just over twenty minutes away in the car.
