This 300-year-old cobb cottage is located in a traffic-free zone in the harbour town of Brixham, one of three towns clustered around the bay of Torbay in South Devon.
The town has a proud maritime history, and the harbour is still the thriving centre of the town today, with fishing vessels, tour boats, and the Torquay ferry running to and fro. There are a number of beaches in the town, including the quiet St Mary’s Bay, the main Breakwater Beach and Shoalstone with its impressive 53-metre tidal pool.
