Perched on a hillside in south-eastern Sicily near Noto, this villa looks out over a sweep of Mediterranean countryside that dissolves into the coastline. The pool and its surrounding garden are the heart of it – spend afternoons moving between the water and the shaded pergola terrace, where a barbecue and outdoor dining area make evenings easy. Each of the three bedrooms has its own en-suite shower room and patio access, keeping things private even when the villa is full. Noto, Syracuse, and the Vendicari Nature Reserve are all within reach by car.

* Two of the three bedrooms are accessed from the outside rather than through the main living area, so you'll step out to reach them.
* The swimming pool is only available for use between 1st April and 30th November.
