This position means you are close to the quayside where you can enjoy boat trips why not try a fantastic two-hour trip which takes visitors out to the isolated island of Lundy, with its resident seal colony and puffins. Three miles north of the town is the pretty fishing village of Appledore, where visitors can enjoy a relaxing day trip pottering around the shops, strolling along the quay, and perhaps catching the ferry across to the neighbouring village of Instow with its yacht club and beach.
