This off-grid home in Kangaroo Valley promises time completely disconnected from the ordinary world. Here, you might wake up to views of kangaroos frolicking on the lawn, and pass the time watching endangered birds whirling in the trees – other visitors might include the horses, chickens, and alpacas that roam the property. An outdoor fire pit and barbecue ensure you can make the most of the tranquil location well into the evening, but you'll feel just as cosy inside, curled up by the fireplace. There's additional entertainment in the form of snooker and ping-pong if you need it, but with so much happening outside the window, we doubt you will.
