Part of one of Bath's famous grand terraces, this apartment is able to capture the city's historic charm while remembering to provide tasteful decor and useful amenities. The home opts for carpets over floorboards in most of its rooms – the kitchen and bathroom are thankfully easier to clean – with plenty of large windows offering welcome views of the Somerset countryside in the rear (and less scenic street views at the front). A full house of six may encounter traffic when sharing the sole bathroom, but otherwise there is plenty of space across the social and more private areas. There's also much to like about the location, with a ten minute walk south bringing you right into the city centre.
