Beccles (3 miles) is a delightful Georgian market town with indie shops, cafes, a regular market, riverside trails and even a heated outdoor lido. You can hire a canoe or a kayak, take a guided cruise on the River Waveney or keep an eye out for otters and kingfishers as you wander along the water’s edge.
