The light-filled living space spills onto a balcony with a small table, making alfresco breakfasts hard to resist. For those heading further afield, Gaudí's iconic Sagrada Família is a twenty-five-minute walk, and Las Ramblas is around thirty minutes on foot.

* This apartment isn't suitable for infants or children aged 12 and under, so it works best for adult groups or families with other children.
* This is a residential building, so the vibe here is calm and neighbourly rather than a lively holiday complex – perfect if you want to feel like a local.
* Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
* Though there's enough bed space for five people here, we think the living area may feel a little cramped when at full occupancy. We'd recommend a maximum guest count of four.
* The kitchen and bathroom are slightly dated in style, but fully functional for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is on the smaller side, though.
