The Barcelona Page

Dark wood panelling climbs to a double-height library in the living room, where a fireplace and an indoor balcony overhead give the whole space the warmth of a mountain retreat – an unlikely find in the heart of Eixample. The dining room is framed by floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, and the period bedrooms come with original cornicing and generous natural light. Step outside and you're within easy reach of Passeig de Gràcia, Casa Batlló, and La Pedrera, with the Sagrada Família a twenty-five-minute walk away.

Home truths:
* The third bedroom sits behind sliding doors within another bedroom rather than being fully separate, so it works best as a workspace or for a solo traveller comfortable with less privacy.
* Getting around Barcelona without a car is easy here – two metro stations are close by and the neighbourhood is very walkable, so we'd recommend leaving the car at home.
* This host requires your check-in to be within 3-5 days from when the last booking ends. If you are unsure if your dates will work or need help finding alternatives, please contact our Matchmaking Team.
