Description Terrace Over Argüelles: Barcelona

A terrace above Madrid's rooftops is a fine place to spend a warm evening, and this apartment in the lively Malasaña-Universidad neighbourhood delivers exactly that – large doors opening onto a sun-catching outdoor space that earns its keep at both lunch and dusk. Inside, beach-inspired decor and a record player give the living area a relaxed, characterful feel, while air conditioning in every room keeps things comfortable when the city heat builds. The streets below are full of independent cafes and shops, and the neighbourhood energy makes it easy to settle in fast.
