Rattan & Rioja

A sheltered courtyard terrace off the living space makes this Barcelona apartment easy to settle into – morning coffee outside, alfresco dinners when the mood takes you. The kitchen opens straight onto it, so cooking and eating feel like one unhurried activity rather than two separate rooms. Inside, the living room has a beach-inspired calm to it, while the main bedroom's architectural rattan headboard brings a quiet confidence to the design. La Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample keeps you close to Joan Miró Park and the city's buzz, with two Metro lines within walking distance.

Home truths:
* Air conditioning is only available in the living room, so the bedrooms rely on natural ventilation during warmer months – worth keeping in mind if you're visiting in summer.
* Getting around Barcelona by public transport is easy from here, with two Metro lines within a short walk – we recommend leaving the car at home and making the most of the network.
* This host requires your check-in to be within 3-5 days from when the last booking ends. If you are unsure if your dates will work or need help finding alternatives, please contact our Matchmaking Team.
* This home can't be rented for business travel.
