The rooftop terrace is where the apartment really delivers – Barcelona's skyline unfolds around you, with Sagrada Família visible on the horizon. Back inside, the living room carries those same city views, and the main bedroom wakes you to rooftops rather than a wall. Two metro stops nearby keep the rest of the city well within reach.

* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
* The lift in the building is small – fitting a maximum of two people at a time. If you're travelling as a group or arriving with bulky luggage, plan to make a few trips.
* There are steps leading up to the front door here. It might not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair. It's worth requesting these in advance to make sure everything is ready on arrival.
