Stepping out onto the covered terrace to dine alfresco sets the tone for a stay at this easy-going apartment in Javea's Montañar area. The communal pool and grassy lawn are right on hand for slow afternoons, while the light-filled living and dining room makes an ideal spot to gather before heading out. The Avenida Mediterráneo seafront promenade is on your doorstep, with Arenal beach and the Puerto harbour both a ten-minute walk away.

Home truths:
* There are steps up to the main entrance of the apartment block and steps down from inside the apartment to the small garden, so this home isn't suitable for guests with mobility difficulties or wheelchair users.
* The air conditioning is controlled by a single master wall panel that regulates the whole apartment – you won't be able to set different temperatures in individual rooms, and the kitchen has no air conditioning at all. Air conditioning is available between 1st April and 31st October only.
* One underground parking space is provided, and we suggest having a car to explore the area. Just note that the garage has a height restriction, so we think it's better for a smaller vehicle.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
