Perched on the heights of Grand-Cul-de-Sac, this villa earns its position – the heated infinity pool with massage jets looks out over the lagoons of Grand-Cul-de-Sac and Petit-Cul-de-Sac, Turtle Island, and the open ocean beyond. Slide back the floor-to-ceiling doors of the great room and the view fills the space entirely. Each of the three en-suite bedrooms frames the garden or sea through full-height glass, and a lower-level suite takes things further with a window looking directly into the pool. The beach is just a few minutes away, and on-request services – private chef, butler, masseur – mean the only decision is how much you want to do.

Home truths:
* The third bedroom sits on the lower level, accessed via an interior staircase, while the other two bedrooms are on the main level either side of the living room – worth bearing in mind when allocating rooms in your group.
* Housekeeping is provided daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Towels are swapped every two days and bed linen every three days.
* Also included with your stay is a personalised welcome at St-Jean Airport or Gustavia Port.
* There's a heated outdoor swimming pool here. Pool heating is available between 15th November and 30th April.
