Perched in the private hillside neighbourhood of Montjean, this villa is designed around the Caribbean view – a solar-heated curvilinear pool faces open ocean and neighbouring island silhouettes, while the covered alfresco terrace below it is sheltered from the trade winds and made for long, unhurried lunches. Inside, arched windows and whitewashed walls frame the same outlook from the living room, with a tropical garden wrapping around the back. Each en-suite bedroom has an outdoor shower, and the third sits apart on its own private terrace. Daily housekeeping and a full concierge service mean the only decision is how to spend the day.

Home truths:
* The villa is built across several levels, so you'll be using the stairs regularly as you move between the living areas, pool terrace, and lower-level gym and TV room.
* Housekeeping is provided daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Towels are swapped every two days and bed linen every three days.
* Also included with your stay is a personalised welcome at St-Jean Airport or Gustavia Port.
* There's a heated outdoor swimming pool here. Pool heating is available between 15th November and 30th April.
