Perched on a hillside in Lorient, this villa is designed to put the Caribbean Sea at the centre of everything. Six of the seven bedrooms boast their own water views, the heated infinity pool seems to dissolve into the horizon, and the breezy living room lets the outdoors in without any effort. The interiors bring a refined contemporary edge, while the outdoor terrace seats twelve for evenings under the Caribbean sky. A cinema room, fitness room, and private elevator connecting the villa's three levels mean there's little reason – and little need – to leave.

Home truths:
* The villa is spread across three levels and several buildings, so you'll be moving between structures during your stay – the on-site elevator makes this easier, but expect some outdoor walking between levels in all weather.
* The seventh bedroom is positioned separately from the main ocean-facing rooms and looks out over the hills rather than the sea – it works well for a staff member or a younger guest.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can arrange a cot and high chair upon request.
* Housekeeping is provided daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Towels are swapped every two days and bed linen every three days.
* Also included with your stay is a personalised welcome at St-Jean Airport or Gustavia Port.
* The pool is heated between 15th November and 30th April.
